ABOUT SHAUN HUTSON

Expelled from school and sacked from his first four jobs, Shaun Hutson has often said that he became a writer because he couldn’t do anything else.

At one time, the youngest professional author in Europe, (his first novel was published when he was twenty-one) he had huge success under his own name with more than thirty eight novels published to date and also wrote more than thirty novels under six different pseudonyms, one of which was Chainsaw Terror.

A huge rock music fan he also joined rock band Iron Maiden on tour as a guest on numerous occasions including joining them thirteen times on stage.

A huge film fan, his novel Slugs was filmed back in 1988 and one of his more recent books, Chase, is due to begin filming later in 2023, complete with a screenplay by Hutson himself.
