ABOUT THE HARBOR-MASTER

Arriving in the town of Port-of-Waves, a young zoologist is on a mission to acquire a pair of exotic birds, thought to be extinct, from a cantankerous recluse. But very soon, the young man will find that there is more than just birds living off the coast of Port-of-Waves...

H.P. Lovecraft himself acknowledged Chambers’ influence on his work, particularly “The Shadow Over Innsmouth” and Chambers’ 1899 short story can be seen as a precursor to Universal’s iconic 1954 film, Creature from the Black Lagoon.

This work is presented as it was originally created and may contain outdated and offensive cultural depictions.
