ABOUT THE MONKEY’S PAW

When the Whites, an ordinary English family, come into possession of an enchanted monkey’s paw—a mysterious and ancient talisman brought into their home by a family friend, Sergeant-Major Morris—they soon discover that every wish comes with a price… but how much are they willing to pay?

First published at the dawn of the twentieth century, Jacobs' "The Monkey’s Paw" endures as a landmark of supernatural fiction.

This work is presented as it was originally created and may contain outdated and offensive cultural depictions.
